The Wearing of the Green

Out and about on this cold and blustery St. Patrick's Day, I observed that New Yorkers remained faithful to the wearing of the green.
Many people at my workplace showed up sporting at least one green article of clothing.
On the street, green was most everywhere, including the everyday trip to the grocery store.
