A Light Dusting of Snow

Late Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning, a light snowfall spruced up the city winter landscape.
Usually a few days after a snow, the sidewalks and especially the curbs take an ugly turn.
The snow had the effect of making the scenes look pretty again, at least temporarily.
Church of the Good Shepherd, Isham and Broadway, Inwood.

The Dyckman Farmhouse Museum at the corner of W. 204 and Broadway, built in the late 18th century,
serves as a reminder of Inwood's rustic legacy. Under the right atmospheric conditions, old Dutch New York makes itself manifest, like in a Washington Irving story.
Look closely, and you'll see feline tracks on the path.
A few cats have selected the farmhouse as a fitting place to go wild.
