The Lacy Winter Trees on Riverside Drive, and Guys With Dogs

I work near Riverside Drive in Morningside Heights, and the view of the trees and the Hudson River is often exceptional. In winter, the tall trees present themselves in lacy elegance.
We had wintry weather today, a light mixture of snow and ice. The dog was wearing a cute pink coat.

The trees make good gesture drawings. They bend, stretch, and yearn.

Or as analogies of arterial veins.

The perch from Riverside Drive allows a view of the full stature of the trees in the park below, illustrated here in the classic way by the relative size of one guy and one dog.
