The Old Ginkgo of Upper Broadway

The big ginkgo tree near 212th Street and Broadway at the foot of Isham Park has overlooked this road for a long time. The thoroughfare itself dates back to pre-colonial Native American days and was heavily traveled during the colonial era. While waiting for the uptown BX7 bus, check out the old gingko across the street.
