A Fleeting Glimpse of the Cold from the Elevated Train

When I started this website on the day of the winter solstice, I never dreamed it would be this cold for this long.
Yes, I expected it to be cold from time to time, but not a relentless cold without end.
The temperature plummeted last night, and the winds howled at my window panes throughout the early morning hours.
At this point I feel lucky to snap any pictures before my freezing hands fall off.
Today's picture is from inside the elevated 1 train after it left the 125th Street station and before it dove underground.
