Paradiso: The View from Linden Terrace, Fort Tryon Park

Today, we caught a break in the weather.
It was sunny and mild, with temperatures in the 50s, and it felt like heaven.
One of the most heavenly walks in all of New York City is the promenade from Margaret Corbin Circle to The Cloisters in Fort Tryon Park.
A high point of the walk, both literally and figuratively, is Linden Terrace, near the New Leaf Café.
Today, the sun felt warm, and the skies were clear enough to see far past The Cloisters.
The mix of textures - water, clay, rock, wood, etc. - and the complementary colors of blue and orange heightened the scene.

Even without the aid of a telephoto lens, the clarity of the day made it possible to see clear to the Tappan Zee Bridge.
